Effect of Counter Anion in Polyviologen as A Cathode Buffer Layer on the Photovoltaic Properties |

In order to improve the performances of polymer solar cells (PSCs), introducing an interfacial layer between the active layer and the metal cathode has been extensively studied in recently. In our previous research, it has been reported that introduction of polyviologen (PV) derivatives as an interfacial layer can enhance the power conversion efficiency of PSCs. In this study, we synthesize a series of new PV derivatives with various counter anions. These counter anions have different size which affect to charge mobilities and charge injection barriers at the interfaces between the active layer and the cathode. Herein, the effect of counter anions on the performance of PSC will be discussed. |
