제목 The effect of MgO preparation method on the Ni/MgO catalyst for the carbon dioxide reforming of methane reaction
초록 Ni/MgO catalysts were prepared by the impregnation method with different MgO preparation methods and applied for the carbon dioxide reforming of methane (CDR) reaction. MgO supports were synthesized by the precipitation method using KOH as a precipitant with various OH/Mg mole ratios. Among the prepared catalysts, Ni/MgO catalyst with OH/Mg ratio of 4 showed the highest CH4 conversion at a very high gas hourly space velocity (GHSV) of 1,080,000 h-1. The excellent activity of the Ni/MgO catalyst with OH/Mg ratio of 4 is mainly ascribed to its strong interaction between Ni and MgO.
