Organic Solar Cells (OSCs) have been made to explore potential applications due to advantages of potential of module based on properties of conjugated polymers. In terms of commercialization, multi-layer process is a challenging task with respect to interfacial problems causing carrier recombination. Researchers have paid attention that conjugated polymers can replace PEDOT:PSS, generally used as hole transport layers because of its neutral properties and high mobility resulting from the molecular dipole. Developing a device with a high performance and stability should be possible with a simple process introducing conjugated polymers into active layer. In this study, hybrid solar cells with conjugated polymers were fabricated via solution process. When conjugated polymers introduced in active layer, they formed vertical phase separation with rearranging molecular order. As a result, carrier recombination was reduced and performance and stability of fabricated devices were enhanced. |
