제목 Effects of modified-sulfur on chemical resistance of concrete
초록 In modern society, we have widely used the concretes for constructions, housing, roads, bridges, skyscrapers and dams. It points out the significance of concrete materials. However, concrete buildings have a drawback, especially in terms of chemical durability. Lots of researches have been reviewing to improve the chemical resistance. One of the researches which have been interesting in enhancing the chemical durability is a utilization of over-produced sulfur, because it has been reported that the sulfur was able to improve the chemical resistance in concretes.In this study, we observed the alteration of chemical resistance by adding the modified-sulfur in concrete. Physical properties like compressive strength, banding strength and tensile strength was tested by UTM. Chemical durability was also measured by Chlorides Penetration Resistance of Concrete.
