Self-assembly of biomolecules attracts increasing attention as a promising protocol to produce novel materials and to complement other materials. A series of amphiphilic biomolcules are synthesized and their self-assembling behaviors are investigated in detail. The amphiphiles synthesized here contain alkyl monochain and hydrophilic oligopeptide as well as 5-aminolevulinic acid, which are of great significance in deciding corresponding self-assembly behaviors. The synthesized compounds were characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR and 13C NMR measurements. The self-assembling behaviors were investigated in various solvent system and their morphologies were observed by SEM, TEM. |
