We have synthesized a novel layered double hydroxide mesoporous silica core-shell nanostructures (LDH@mSiO2) with ordered mesoporous silica shell with perpendicularly oriented mesochannels via a surfactant-directing method. Layered double hydroxide materials with spherical morphology and different particle size were synthesized and further modified by post-synthesis route using 3-(aminopropyl)triethoxysilane (APTES). The materials were characterized by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD), N2 adsorption, Thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), FT-IR analysis, SEM, TEM, solid state 29Sicp and 13C CP MAS NMR spectroscopic analyses. The synthesized LDH@mSiO2 materials were utilized to loading and controlled release of ibuprofen drug with various pH conditions. |
