It is known that impregnated activated carbon has high adsorption capacity for sulfur compounds at ambient temperature and atmospheric pressure. The pore properties including BET’ specific surface area, pore volume, pore size distribution, and mean pore diameter of impregnated activated carbons, were characterized from N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms. Adsorption characteristics of sulfur compounds on impregnated activated carbon were evaluated using dynamic adsorption method in a fixed bed. |
