제목 Preparation and Characterization of Polynorbornene Ionomers
초록 Due to its high glass transition temperature (Tg) and excellent optical properties polynorbornene has drawn considerable attention in the field of display industry for the development of flexible display materials. One of the most important properties of flexible display material is coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) and it should be similar to that of glass for ensuring dimensional stability. Polynorbornene was synthesized by addition polymerization of methyl 5-norbornene-2-carboxylate using palladium catalyst system. And then polynorbornene ionomer was prepared by neutralization of hydrolyzed polynorbornene with various basic metal salts. At the meeting, synthesis and characterization of polynorbornene ionomers will be presented.
