LiFePO4 Materials via Hydrothermal Route for Lithium Batteries |

LiFePO4 has been prepared by various methods in order to improve its electrochemical performance as a cathode material of rechargeable lithium batteries. In this study, carbon-free and carbon-coated nano particles LiFePO4 were prepared by hydrothermal method. The particle size, morphology, and crystal texture of the obtained LiFePO4 nano particles were changed, depending on synthetic conditions. The structural characteristics and electrochemical properties of carbon-free and carbon-coated LiFePO4 were investigated. Especially, the effect of synthesis temperature and time of LiFePO4 on their electrochemical properties was discussed. |
