Syngas production via dry reforming of propane over NiMoO4 nanocatalyst supported on mesoporous γ-Al2O3 |

Hierarchical nanostructured NiMoO4 are successfully grown on γ-Al2O3 substrates utilizing an active catalyst for dry reforming. The morphology of the NiMoO4 controlled by grown temperature. The catalytic study was investigated at different space velocity. The catalyst showed significant activity, selectivity and stability in the strongly endothermic dry reforming of propane (DRP), as the result of its enhanced resistance to coke and sintering. The catalytic activity of NiMoO4/γ-Al2O3 showed that the stoichiometric reaction and negligible by-product. The spent catalysts were characterized by FE-SEM, temperature programmed oxidation and Raman result confirmed the less carbon formation and no structural deformation after DRP. |
