Despite the inorganic quantum dots, black phosphorus quantum dots(BPQDs) composed of phosphorus, one of the Group V elements, are drawing researcher’s attention lately. It has fine biocompatibility and remarkable optoelectronic properties. (Unfortunately, inorganic quantum dots, mostly composed of heavy metals such as Cd or Se, are harmful due to their high toxicity.) But, BPQDs are poorly photoluminescence in ambient atmospheres due to its ability to be easily oxidized by oxygen. Herein, we synthesized blue-light emitting BPQDs by liquid-phase exfoliation into chlorobenzene using ultrasonification; a solvent in which the fluorescence properties of BPQDs is the best. The optoelectronic and morphologic properties of BPQDs will be discussed in detail. 2019년 한국교통대학교 지원을 받아 수행하였음. |
