제목 Synthesis and property of light-emitting liquid crystalline materials
초록 Organic light-emitting mesogenic materials have attracted attention because polarized characteristics of light-emitting materials is related with orientation property of liquid crystalline materials. In this work, we have synthesized and characterized organic luminescence molecules containing mesogenic structure, and we have studied how the liquid crystallinity affects the luminescence property. The desired molecules consist of bi-alkyl fluorene- and benzothiadiazole-based central core, and flexible terminal alkyl groups. The structure of compounds was identified by 1H-NMR and FT-IR spectroscopy, and elementary analysis. The thermal properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and cross-polarizing optical microscopy. In addition, physicochemical properties were investigated by UV-vis absorption and PL spectroscopy.
