Ion gels consisting of room temperature ionic liquids (ILs) and ABA triblock copolymers with insoluble A blocks and an IL soluble B block show high ionic conductivity, outstanding capacitance, negligible vapor pressure, and good solution processability. Although some research groups reported solution processable, low-voltage, flexible electrochemical displays on a flrxible substrate based on these polymer gel electrolytes (PGEs), there is no report about blue emitting PGE at solid states. Here, we synthesized an imidazolium based luminophore capable of blue emitting that showed good solubility to ion gels. The prepared electrochemiluminescent (ECL) system show excellent blue emitting property. |
