Nanoporous membranes have attracted many researches in the catalytic application. In this regard, we focused on the preparation method of nanoporous membranes from poly(styrene)-block-poly(2-vinylpyridine) diblock copolymers and its gold nanoparticle loading. Hence, the nanoporous PS-b-P2VP membranes were fabricated using Non-Solvent-Induced Phase Separation Method (NIPS). The pore dimensions in the polymer membranes were adjusted from the preparation condition. Furthermore, synthesis of gold nanoparticles in the membranes were carried out by citrate reduction method and direct nanoparticles loading method. To confirm the catalytic performance, 4-nitrophenol reduction was tested on the gold-loaded membranes. |
