제목 Alternating Electron Donor-Acceptor Conjugated Polymer based on Quinacridone and Quinoxaline for Organic Photovoltaics
초록  The characteristics of organic photovoltaics (OPVs) such as low cost, flexibility and fabrication by solution processes have made OPVs a unique member of the solar cell family. Research on developing new materials mainly focuses on the synthesis of new donor-acceptor (D-A) type small band gap polymers that can harvest more sun light to generate higher short-circuit current density (JSC).
A quinacridone (QC) which is known as a red-violet pigment, has an ordered structure, self-assembled characteristics and high hole mobility. A quinoxaline (Qx) moiety acts as strong acceptors due to the presence of two imine nitrogen atoms, which has octyloxy chains at the meta-positon (m8) of the phenyl ring for solubility. Moreover, introducing thiophene (T) spacer between D and A unit as π-bridge is extended π-conjugation lengths. In this study, we synthesized D-A type copolymer using quinacridone as the D-unit with m8-quinoxaline as the A-unit by Suzuki coupling reaction. This polymer is showed physical, optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties.
