제목 Highly Transparent and Flexible MWCNT/Polydimethylsiloxane Films and Their Applications as Electric Heating Elements
초록 Highly transparent and flexible films composed of MWCNT and polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) layers were fabricated by spin-coating MWCNT solution on glass plate, curing of PDMS applied on MWCNT/glass, and peeling off the MWCNT/PDMS film. The layer thickness of MWCNT on the films could be finely controlled by adjusting the number of spin-coating cycles. The MWCNT layer of the films was treated with nitric acid and thionyl chloride to improve the electrical and optical properties. The morphological feature of MWCNTs was characterized by using SEM. The sheet resistance and optical transmittance of the MWCNT/PDMS films with different thickness of MWCNT layer were evaluated by multiple sourcemeter and UV-Vis spectrophotometer. The performance of the films as electric heating elements was examined as functions of MWCNT layer thickness and applied voltage. The electric heating behavior was investigated by considering maximum temperature and electric power efficiency at different applied voltages.
