We prepared a SWNTs monolayer using LB technique and investigated effect of their gas sensing performance. The monolayer of SWNT has been formed densely on finger-like electrodes. It is well known that the NO2 gas adsorped on SWNT's surface plays a role of electron withdrowing, which results in the decrease of conductance. The conductance change of LB films is 1.98 for 2.5 ppm of NO2 at ambient condition. We have found that higher conductance change due to increase of active area of SWNTs that can react with NO2 gas. |
