제목 Enhanced performance FET-type 17β-estradiol biosensor based on ultrathin carboxylated polypyrrole nanotube
초록 We report a highly sensitive field-effect transistor type biosensor toward 17β-estradiol based on ultrathin carboxylated polypyrrole nanotubes (CPPy NTs). Ultrathin CPPy NTs are fabricated by self-degraded method with methyl orange and iron chloride template, and their diameters are 40 nm. Moreover, the amine-functionalized 17β-estradiol binding aptamers are attached on the surface of CPPy NTs through covalent bonding. This resulting ultrathin CPPy NTs based FET type biosensor provide a rapid response (< 1s) with high sensitivity and selectivity toward 17β-estradiol among biomolecules with similar structures. The limit of detection is extremely low concentration (1 fM). Due to the covalent bonding, this liquid-gated FET type 17β-estradiol biosensor shows longer life time.
