제목 Synthesis and Photoluminescence Properties of Spherical SrAl2O4:Eu2+ Phosphors
초록  For preparation of phosphor, the liquid-phase reaction synthesis is an efficient method, due to its advantages of better homogeneity and low processing temperature. In this work, the synthesis of spherical SrAl2O4:Eu2+ powder was attempted using the liquid-phase reaction composed of two-stage precipitations. In the first stage, spherical hydrated alumina particles are precipitated and then metal oxalates with alumina hydrate are coprecipitated. Crystalline phase, morphology and photoluminescence properties of the synthesized SrAl2O4:Eu2+ phosphor particle were characterized using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscope and photoluminescence spectrometer, respectively. The preparation conditions for spherical SrAl2O4:Eu2+ particles with uniform size in this synthetic process were optimized. A single phase of SrAl2O4:Eu2+ phosphor was prepared by firing at the temperature of 1100°C. On the other hand, the phosphors exhibited a broad excitation band from 250 to 450 nm, and a emission band of main peak at 522 nm due to the transition from 4f65d1 to 4f7 of Eu2+ activator are observed.
