제목 In vitro drug release behaviors and cytotoxicity study of glycosaminoglycan hydrogel system prepared by radiation technique
초록 Recent studies on biomaterials in the fields of tissue engineering have focused on three-dimensional scaffolds for cell delivery and therapy, Particularly, natural polysaccharides such as hyaluronic acid (HA) and chondroitin sulfate (CS) have been extensively studied in medical applications since they can provide intrinsic biological activity when used as the basis for biomaterials. To design the artificial skin model for alternative tests to animal experiments, we synthesized HA and CS derivatives with polymerizable residues with precise control over the substitution degree. The hyaluronic acid/chodroitin sulfate-based hydrogels were prepared by using a radiation technique. To evaluate the feasibility for artificial skin substitutes, the enzymatic degradation kinetics, the drug release behaviors, drug permeation properties and cytotoxicity of the hydrogels were investigated.
