제목 Microbial Fuel Cell Performance of  Carbon Nanotubes on Carbon Felt as Electrode
초록 The microbial fuel cells (MFCs) are considered to be a very popular and promising hybrid bio-electrochemical energy source for directly recovering electrical energy from organic matter in waste. In this study, we investigate the performances of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (CNTs) on carbon felt electrodes in two-chambered MFC. The performance of MFC can be optimized by varying the CNTs composite loading in the carbon felt anode. The electrode modified with CNTs showed better electrochemical performance than that of plain carbon felt electrode. These results show that the CNTs composite anode is promising for MFC application.
