Micellization confirmation depend on temperature of poly(ethylene oxide) -b- poly(NiPAM)s using fluorescein dye |
초록 |
We have successfully synthesized water-soluble block copolymers exhibiting temperature-responsive phase transition using poly(ethylene oxide)-based macroinitiator via RAFT radical polymerization. The PEO-based macroinitiator was successfully converted into the RAFT (reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer) agent containing the dithioester group. Using the RAFT agent and AIBN as an initiator, RAFT polymerization of N-isopropylacrylamide (NiPAM) was successfully performed in toluene at 80℃ for 8h. Using flourescein dye us having quantum efficiency even in low concentration, confirmed micellization of the temperature - sensitive block copolymer. |
