Fabrication of Crystalline Chemically Reduced Graphene Oxide-Poly(ethylene glycol) Assembly through noncovalent approach |
초록 |
It has been considered that almost every polymer could be assembled with chemically reduced graphene oxide (RGO) through noncovalent approaches such as hydrogen bonding, ionic interaction, dispersion force, and polarity. But the experimental evidences were scarce. For that reason, in this paper we aim to investigate what kind of noncovalent attractions crucially influence on the formulation of RGO. Crystalline poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG) is one of a few water-soluble polymers. Its characteristic was utilized in distinguishing the factor of RGO/Polymer assembly because PEG has no any functional group causing interaction, polarity, and ionic interaction but dispersion force only. AFM images of RGO/PEG demonstrate that how dispersion force affects their assembly, showing differences of crystallizability depending upon the rate of PEG. |
