제목 Synthesis of meso-tetraphenyl metalloporphyrins by microwave irradiation
초록 It is reported that microwave irradiation is a very important tool to improve the selectivity, rate enhancement and the reduction of thermal degradative byproduct in organic synthesis. Metalloporphyrins are well-known optoelectronic as well as biological materials. They have been applied in light-emitting diodes, solar cells and non-linear optics. In this study, we investigated a simple and quick synthesis of meso-tetraphenyl metalloporphyrins (MTPP) from benzaldehyde and pyrrole with appropriate metal source under microwave irradiation. All of samples were characterized by the means of H-NMR, infrared spectroscopy (IR), UV-Vis spectroscopy (UV-Vis) and MALDI-TOF mass Spectrometry (MS).
