제목 A New Charge Transport Layer Leading to Remarkably High Open Circuit Voltage in Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Tin-based Perovskite Solar Cells
초록 Developing less toxic alternative to lead-based halide perovskite light absorbers has been a sought goal in photovoltaics for commercialization of this technology. Among plausible candidates, tin-based perovskite materials possess the advantages such as smaller bandgaps and higher carrier mobility than lead-based materials. However, power conversion efficiency of tin-based perovskite solar cells (PSCs) is mainly limited by low open-circuit voltages (VOC) arising from mismatched energy levels between a perovskite absorber and charge transporting materials (CTMs). In this presentation, we demonstrate that a VOC of tin-based PSCs can be significantly improved by a new CTM with the well-suited energy levels to a tin-based absorber. We analyze the energy levels of components in PSCs and study charge dissociation mechanisms during light to electric energy conversion process. Our champion tin-based PSC with a new CTM exhibits a very large VOC of ~0.65V and power conversion efficiency of ~7%.
