제목 Physical property of recycled and virgin PET
초록 The resource depletion and the ecological destruction have been caused from the high growth of industry. It is necessary to promote eco-friendly industry and recycle wastes for the environmental conservation. In this study, material recycled PET chip was compounded with virgin PET chip of the various ratio of 20, 40, and 70 wt%. The molecular weight and intrinsic viscosity and thermal properties were measured for each sample. Recycled PET chip compounded with virgin PET chip was decreased in molecular weight and intrinsic viscosity. As virgin PET chip was compounded with recycled PET chip, melting temperature(Tm) was increased. Compounded PET chip showed a higher crystallization temperature (Tc) compared with recycled PET chip or virgin PET chip. Filament fiber was spun by melt spinning process with recycle and virgin PET chip of various mixing ratio and characterized in terms of thermal properties.
