Novel C60 based n-Type Organic Semiconducting Materials for OPVCs |

Aiming at improving the phase behavior of the OPVCs, in this work we synthesized a series of novel C60 derivatives, which showed high electron mobility and electron affinity. By incorporation of an electron withdrawing group in C60 derivatives, we can improve the power conversion efficiency from 1.8% to 4% without additional post-annealing process under 100mW simulated AM1.5 illumination. The electrochemical and photophysical properties of the new methanofullerenes were characterized by Cyclic Voltametry and UV-Vis spectroscopy. |
