Synthesis of Diureas from CO2, amines, and propylene oxide |
초록 |
Chemical fixation of CO2 to produce value-added compounds is gaining interest during the last two decades due to the utilization of renewable resource and increasing concern on greenhouse gas. Among the products from CO2 as the platform material, disubstituted ureas have been widely regarded for various applications such as precursors for isocyanate, intermediates in pharmaceutical and agrochemicals. The old methods suffer from the use of toxic reagents and possible explosion ratio of CO/O2. Herein, we present a facile synthesis of 1,3-disubstituted urea (DSU) from the reaction of 3-component system of CO2, alicyclic amines, propylene oxide catalyzed by 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetraiodoindateⅢ. This ionic liquid catalyst was found to be slightly active for the synthesis of DSUs as a main product and the DSUs from the alicyclic amines could be easily separated. |
