Examination of hybrid membrane based on hydrocarbon polymer sPPO and sPEEK. |
초록 |
Commonly hydrocarbon polymer have high hydrophilic character, thus have also high ionic conductivity too. By high ionic conductivity hydrocarbon membrane use as a electrolyte membrane in redox flow battery frequently. Typical hydrocarbon polymer Sulfonated Poly ether ether ketone(sPEEK) is well known because they can be synthesis easily. Meanwhile Sulfonated Poly propylene oxide(sPPO) is not commonly use as membrane issue but have low cost. In this study examine composite membrane based on hydrocarbon polymer sPPO and sPEEK, composite with hydrophilic and amphiphilic compounds. Character of membranes, water uptake, swelling ratio, ion exchange capacity and mechanical strength was measured and compared. |
