A hydrogel is a material that has a 3D network structure which could be obtained using radiation, ion beam, chemical crosslinker, or physical interactions. Hydrogels are particularly useful in various applications as sensors, adsorbents, and materials in drug delivery systems. In this study we synthesized the hydrogel that has high mechanical property by inorganic nanofiber and investigated Raman activity of Imogolite hybrid hydrogel. Imogolite is a natural, hydrated aluminium silicate with a hollow tube structure. We can find characteristic peaks of pAA, C-H and C=O stretching around 1400 cm-1 and 1700 cm-1 in hybrid Imogolite hydrogel. Imogolite nanotubes mainly contribute to the range of under 1200 cm-1 in Raman spectra. This result is similar with simulated Raman spectra. We are using the model of pure and hybrid imogolite cluster with small and large imogoltite. In addition, we have investigated Raman spectra with respect to the length of pAA chain. |
