제목 Thermo-activable smart photosensitizer for effective photodynamic therapy
초록 Photosensitizer was exploited tumor therapy because of generated reactive oxygen singlet. However, the hydrophobic PS aggregates in blood vessel and is quenched to decrease its activity. This point was used to treat tumor more efficiency. In this study, PS conjugated temperature dependent reversible polymer (PTDRP).
It located at physiological temperature, it was aggregated. When it receives heat, the polymers were aggregated and create a hydrophobic environment. PS is located in hydrophobic environment and it is dispersed and activated. We used the small-angle X-ray scattering to confirm change of polymer structure. PTDRP has a lower critical solution temperature in water. It changed form from random-coil to collapsed when it was heated. Consequently, PTDRP generated more fluorescence, singlet oxygen generation at 45 °C than at 37 °C. At various temperature, we measured cytotoxicity at hyperthermia condition.
