제목 | Luminescent Properties of (M, M’)TiO3:Pr3+ (M, M’ = Ca2+, Sr2+, Zn2+) |
초록 | Pr3+ doped CaTiO3 (CTO) phosphors have been known as good oxide red phosphors due to excellent optical properties such as CIE coordinates close to ideal red, high chemical stability, and a strong red emission at about 614 nm. For these reasons, there have been some investigations to change the luminescent properties by substituting divalent cations of Zn2+, Sr2+ or Ba2+ for Ca2+. In this work, (Ca1-xZnx)TiO3:Pr3+ (CZT), (Ca1-ySry)TiO3:Pr3+ (CST), and (Ca0.5Sr0.5-zZnz)TiO3:Pr3+ (CSZT) are prepared by a conventional solid-state reaction method at 1050 - 1350 oC under air atmosphere. The Pr3+ content was fixed at 0.05 mol% and an amount of x, y, and z was in the range of 0 - 0.5 mol. The findings demonstrated that the structure and luminescent properties were affected by the Zn and/or Sr contents and sintering temperatures. The substitutions of Zn2+ and Sr2+ for Ca2+ caused the variation of the excitation band shape near ultraviolet region. |
