PMMA-b-PMAPOSS was prepared. The nanoscale thin of this diblck copolymer was analized in detail by using synchrotron GISAXS and GIWAXS and its thermal properties. In this Thin films, this diblock copolymer undergo self-assemble and phase-separation. The thin film of this diblock copolymer was made a specific structure that cylinders of PMMA blocks are hexagonally packed in the PMAPOSS matrix by solvent-annealing, in which the cylinders are oriented vertically with respect to the film plane. In the solvent-annealed films, PMMA-b-PMAPOSS make cylindrical microstructure but both the PMMA cylinders and the PMAPOSS matrix were composed by amorphous. After the solvent annealing, this diblock copolymer was treated by the thermal annealing process, PMAPOSS block chains in a helical conformation in which the molecular PMAPOSS cylinders are aligned in the film plane with the crystal form of orthorhombic lattice unit cell. |
