Preparation and characteristics of poly(L-lactic acid) films plasticized with poly(ethylene glycol) |
초록 |
Plasticization of poly(L-lactic acid) with poly (ethylene glycol) is necessary for its practical application. Crosslinking was carried out by use of a solvent-cast technique with triallyl isocyanurate and dicumyl peroxide. A series of crosslinked poly(L-lactic acid) with different gel fractions and crosslink densities were prepared. Crystallization behavior and mechanical properties of the crosslinked poly(L-lactic acid)/poly (ethylene glycol) blends were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry, scanning electron microscopy, and tensile tests. The crosslinking of poly(L-lactic acid)/ poly(ethylene glycol) started at a low content of either triallyl isocyanurate and dicumyl peroxide, resulting in a decrease in the crystallinity and a significant improvement in the thermal degradation initiation. |
