제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of Zinc Sulfide Nano-powder by Glycol Processes |
초록 | Zinc Sulfide (ZnS) is an important Ⅱ-Ⅵ semiconductor material which was considered as a promising material and has been widely used in many fields, such as light-emitting diodes (LEDs), electroluminescence, flat-panel displays, catalyst, chemical sensors, biosensors and lasers due to its good chemical and optical properties with a wide band gap energy of around 3.72eV - 3.77eV. In this study, we have used zinc acetate dehydrate and thiourea as starting material, ethylene glycol as solvents by glycol process because the glycol process is not complicate, easily to control the morphology shape and size, good dispersion and environment friendly. The properties of synthesized ZnS have been characterized by XRD, FE-SEM, and UV-visible spectrometer. |
