제목 Materials for Deep Blue Phosphorescent Organic Light-Emitting Diodes
초록 Over the last decade, substantial efforts were made towards developing blue light emitters based on phosphorescent iridium complexes that promise maximum emission efficiency and high chemical stability.  Highly efficient emitters are already available for red and green light, but a deep-blue phosphorescent dye with similar performance remains elusive. To develop efficient blue phosphorescence material, it is important to fully understand the electronic and structural features of triplet state. Recently, we have reported a detailed analysis of the computational model and time-resolved luminescence experiments of Ir(III) complexes which suggest that a combination of electronic effects and the bulkiness of ancillary ligand affect the efficiency of radiative excited state from non-radiative decay. In this regard, we developed three types of new deep blue phosphorescent emitting Ir(III) complexes which showed high EQE and low turn on voltage.
