Biocompatibility of Equal channel angular processed (ECAP) Titanium using In-Vitro |
초록 |
The main objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of Equal Channel Angular processed (ECAP) titanium as an implant. In the present study, Grade 2 pure titanium (Cp-Ti) was ECAP to obtain fine grained, high strength, ECAP-Ti. The tensile strength tests showed yield strength of ECAP-Ti (684 + 75 MPa) higher compare to Cp-Ti (418+ 57 MPa). Biocompatibility tests (MTT tests (tetrazolium salt)) for cell adhesion and cell proliferation were done using 3T3 mouse cell line fibroblast. Biocompatibility tests showed, ECAP-Ti exhibiting better biocompatibility than Cp-Ti. |
