제목 Fully Toughened Epoxy Systems for Applications to Structures: Impact Peel Strength at Low Temperature
초록 We have investigated the mechanical properties of fully toughened epoxy systems at low temperature. Mechanical strength and coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) are key factors to be considered in fully toughened epoxy systems for applications to structures. In this epoxy system, nano-sized core shell rubber (CSR) particles was introduced to obtain the improved mechanical properties. By incorporating CSR particles into epoxy systems, adhesion strength and impact peel strength at low temperature(-40℃) significantly increased. Furthermore, amine- and elastomer-terminated epoxy prepolymers were synthesized and incorporated into epoxy systems, leading to significant increase in both T-peel strength and impact peel strength at low temperature.
