In this study, we propose a new heat generating device using sunlight. We produce conducting polymer deposited Cellulose Black membrane using Vapor Deposition Polymerization (VDP). The VDP is very easy to deposit polymers on various substrates. Moreover, the polymers are treated on the substrate very thinly and equally via the VDP process. Poly pyrrole, poly thiophene and poly (3-hexyl thiophene) are used as the conducting polymers, and the cellulose filter paper is used as the substrate. The cellulose membrane is soaked in FeCl3 aqueous solution. And then, we inject conducting monomers into VDP apparatus under proper vacuum state. Cellulose black membrane effectively absorbs sunlight with a wide range of wavelength. Consequently, we manufactured the “Cellulose black membrane” which deposited conducting polymer thinly and uniformly without pore blocking phenomenon. This black membrane is applicable to heat generation device and steam generation device. |
