제목 Positive List of Polyethylene/Polypropylene for Food and Beverage Packaging Applications
초록 PE/PP are the most useful food and beverage packaging materials due to its low cost, easy processing ability and versatility in its physical properties. The purpose of the positive list of food contacting plastics of PE/PP is to protect human health from the hazards caused by the various chemicals. The positive list may also encourage the development of the plastics-related products by the prior information on the toxicity and safety of the chemicals to be used. A draft for the raw materials DB was prepared for 520 kinds of the raw materials and additives used for production of PP/PE materials. The draft summarizes and compares 329 (USA), 156 (EU) and 367 (Japan) kinds of the raw materials and additives for PP/PE based on the materials list appearing in 21CFR 177.1520 and the like (USA), 2007/19/EC (EU) and JHOSPA (Japan). Name, chemical formula and toxicity data, etc, for each material were filed in the draft.
