Fabrication of composite nanofibers using blend of PVA/PSSA and zeolite by electrospinning |

PVA/zeolite composite nanofibers were fabricated via the electrospinning process using Poly(vinyl alcohol) solution, Poly(styrene sulfonicacid comaleic acid) solution and zeolite. PVA and PSSA solutions dissolved in distilled water were prepared in 10 weight percent concentration. . And sulfosuccinic acid is added to PVA solution for crosslinking reaction of PVA. Solutions of PVA/PSSA were blended in various blending ratios. And zeolite of various weight concentrations compared to PVA weight is added to each blend solution. Each solution was fabricated PVA nanofiber through electrospinning in constant condition. The morphology and diameter of nanofibers were measured using scanning electron microscope(SEM). The morphology of nanofiber was controlled in specific blending ratio. |
