제목 A study on synthesis of red compound by alcohol solvent and catalyst
초록 Pigment red 254 (P.R. 254) that is a kind of diketopyrrolo-pyrrole has been used color plastics which are processed at high temperature and high quality industrial paints. P.R. 254, which is good coloristic, fastness properties, and high hiding power. In this study red compound was synthesized by solvent reaction and purification. It was synthesized at various condition from P-chlorobenzonitrile, diisopropyl succinate precursor in solvent with addition of tert-butoxide, and then purification at various condition in homo mixer. The chemical and crystalline structure of sample were analyzed by  means of FT-IR spectrometer and X-ray Diffraction. The color properties were analyzed by means of color-difference meter, UV-Vis spectrometer. The shape and size of particles and dispersion stability were analyzed by means of field emission scanning electron microscope. The dispersion characteristics were tested utilizing turbiscan.
