Fabrication of Transparent Conductive Films with Solution-Dispersed Single-Walled Carbon Nanotubes Using Poly[2-(dimethylamino) ethyl methacrylate]-co-Polystyrene |

Single-walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) with high aspect ratio were non-covalently functionalized by using poly(2-dimethylamino ethyl methacrylate-co-Styrene) (poly(DMAEMA-co-St)) and dispersed well with stability in organic solvent. Poly(DMAEMA-co-St) with various compositions as a polymeric surfactant were synthesized via atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). [Poly(DMAEMA-co-St)]s were confirmed their structures and compositions from 1H NMR spectroscopy. The stability of dispersed SWCNTs in organic solvent was measured by dispersion stability analyzer. Dispersion of SWCNTs with high aspect ratio was observed by TEM, SEM and AFM. Unbundled SWCNTs structures were confirmed using Raman and UV-vis-NIR spectroscopies. The SWCNTs transparent conductive films with the high transmittance and low sheet resistance were successfully prepared on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate by spin-coating method. |
