Functionalized Polymer dots based Pluronic for Cancer Target Imaging Guided Anticancer Drug Delivery |

We prepared concentration-mediated multicolor fluorescence based polymer dots (PDs) from sulfuric acid-treated dehydration of Pluronic F-within simple method. Pluronic-based PDs (P-PDs) showed high dispersion stability in solvent media and exhibited a fluorescence emission that was widely tunable from red to blue by adjusting both the excitation wavelengths and the P-PD concentration in an aqueous solution. Based on these facts, we further explore P-PDs for target drug delivery with bio-imaging system. We prepared P-PDs surface decorated drug doxorubicin (DOX) via acid-cleavable hydrazone linkages with tumor target folic acid to obtain the nanoparticles. This system possessed dual function as a deliver and a function of bio-imaging of cancer cells for more advance target delivery system with physiological stability. This was supported by Korea National University of Transportation in 2016. |
