Synthesis and Characterization of O-Carboxylmethyl Chitosang-poly(ethylene glycol)-Folate as a pH responsive Carrier for Tumor Targeted Drug Delivery |
초록 |
Efficient delivery of therapeutics into tumor cells to increase the intracellular drug concentration is a major challenge for cancer therapy due to inefficient cellular uptake. Herein, we have designed a pH-sensitive polymerdrug conjugate nanoparticulate system to overcome the challenges. The nanoparticle is capable of binding with receptor at the tumor extracellular to facilitate cell internalization. Subsequently, the significantly increased acidity in subcellular compartments such as the endosome further promotes doxorubicin release from the endocytosed drug carriers. Drug carrier was characterized in terms of FT-IR, 1H NMR, DLS, TEM, stability and drug release on pH dependent.
