제목 Effects of Ni-plating time on electromagnetic interference shielding efficiency of glass fibers-reinforced composites
초록 The present work focuses on the effect of nickel coating on the electromagnetic interference shielding efficiency (EMI-SE) of the glass fibers-reinforced composites. The electroless plating was used to plate the nickel on the glass fibers (GFs). The morphologies and phase structure analysis of the GFs were performed using scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction. The EMI-SE and electrical conductivity of the composites were measured by vector network analyzer and resistivity meter with 4-point probe. As for experimental results, it was observed that the EMI-SE of the composites was dramatically increased in the presence of thick nickel layers. Also, heat treatment results showed that EMI-SE was improved with structural change.
