제목 Synthesis and properties of halogen doped graphene nanosheets via ball milling
초록 We reported new method to make graphene nanosheets (GNs) which is very simply, eco-friendly and economic. Using this method, we have first achieved a high yield of edge-selectively halogen doped graphite (EHG) by a simple ball milling of pristine graphite in the presence of halogen materials such as Cl2, Br2 and I2. We have confirmed that graphene nanosheets were well doped with halogen elements by using XPS, SEM, TEM and EDAX. Besides, we also showed that it was possible for graphene to be doped with other various materials by using ball milling method. The resultant EHG displayed to have very high surface area and highly dispersion into various solvents. And also, EHG had outstanding electrocatalytic activity for oxygen reduction reaction (ORR).
