The formation of amide bond is very important reaction in peptide engineering. To form the amide bonds with amines, carboxylic acids should be activated as active ester form by using several activating reagents. In this presentation, we will describe about the reusable pyrazolone active ester linker which is bounded to a hydrophilic polymer support. By using this active ester linker bounded polymer support, the desired amide bonds were formed with high yield and purity even in extremely mild condition. Furthermore, this polymer support can be reusable several times without loss of activity. |
