제목 Syntheses and Characterization of New Conjugated Polymer, Polyfluorenevinylene with Cyano Group and Carbazole Unit
초록 The present investigation deals with the synthesis, characterization and EL of new copolymers, CzCNPFVs, with cyano-substituted vinylene unit and carbazole pendant to improve the device performance as compare to that of PFVs. The absorption peaks, originating from the conjugated backbone of CzCNPFVs, appeared at around 438 ~ 446 nm in the solution with chloroform as the solvent and at around 437 ~ 443 nm in thin films and PL emission spectra of the CzCNPFVs in chloroform solution show maximum peaks at 476 ~ 479 nm. The maximum luminescence efficiency of CzCNPFV1 is 0.18 cd/A. As compared to CzCNPFV2, CzCNPFV1 is an alternating copolymer formed by one monomer with two carbazole moieties and another monomer with two alkyl groups. The zipper-like contact between the pairs of carbazole from one and another polymers can cause intermolecular π-π interaction, which can increase long wavelength peaks of PL and EL.
