Wet and dry Properties of tinted architectural waterborne paints thickened by Hydrophobically modified hydroxyethyl cellulose |
초록 |
Hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) and Hydrophobically modified hydroxy ethyl cellulose (HMHEC) are widely used in waterborne paints as a rheology modifier. Both materials show distinguishing properties in latex paints. In this work, we discussed wet and dry properties of paints thikened by HEC or HMHEC. Rheological profiles were observed by using rheometer varying shear rate. Color differences in the tinted paints(mixed colorant was used) were measured by using colorimeter after application. |
